Boston Globe 12/21/15: Wayland to participate in bird count. Wayland’s conservation land manager, Brian Harris, will lead the town as it participates in the 56th annual Concord Christmas bird count at 6:30 a.m. Jan. 3 at the Heard Farm Conservation Area. Many species will likely be seen, including a number of semi-hardy species due to this year’s warm temperatures.
