On April 14, 2016, an investigation was launched after a business located in Wayland had come forward and reported that an ex-employee, identified as David Rodriguez of Southborough, had stolen in excess of $111,000.00 while he was an employee at the company.
On Wednesday, April 27, 2016, Rodriguez and his attorney came to the Wayland Police Department where he was arrested for the above charges. He was booked in the usual manner and transported to the Framingham District Court for arraignment.
