Wayland Town Crier 11/28/20: Wayland lieutenant to become interim police chief. Sean Gibbons will become Wayland’s interim police chief on Nov. 30 upon the retirement of Chief Patrick Swanick, following a unanimous vote by the Board of Selectmen. Town Administrator Louise Miller estimated that Gibbons will serve as interim chief for four to five months until a permanent chief is named.
