Wayland Town Crier 12/16/13: Wayland selectmen pick consultant to help in administrator search. The Board of Selectmen last week asked Acting Town Administrator Robert Mercier to sign a $15,500 contract with Municipal Resources Inc. (MRI) of New Hampshire to assist with the search for a new town administrator to replace Fred Turkington, who was abruptly fired by the selectmen in a 3-1 vote in late August.
