Upper Mill Brook Reservation & Peace Lutheran Church, Wayland
Saturday, May 10, 2014
10:00am – noon

Join us for an event led by Lisa Vernegaard, SVT Executive Director, and Karen Riggert, Naturalist, to celebrate spring with a discovery walk and talk at Upper Mill Brook. During this two-hour program, the presenters will offer a brief, 30-minute presentation that takes participants on a journey to explore the region’s rich conservation history. Following this talk, naturalists will lead a walk through SVT’s Upper Mill Brook, where visitors can enjoy some of this conservation area’s many benefits, from flowering spring plants to a diversity of migrating warblers. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars. Caution! Feet may get damp on this walk! All ages are welcomed; no dogs please. Refreshments will be served.

This program is brought to you as part of Wayland’s yearlong 375th celebration and the 50th anniversary of Peace Lutheran Church.

Free event, but pre-registration is required. Visit www.svtweb.org or call 978-443-5588.
