Children enjoy outdoor and indoor activities on the grounds of Wayland High School. Activities include archery, baseball, basketball, soccer, flag football, arts & crafts, science & nature, pillo polo, hockey, scavenger hunts, free swim, drama. Program Hours: 8:30am – 3pm. Children are grouped according to grade and are placed under the guidance of caring counselors who greet their groups each morning. After that children rotate through a variety of activities that may include archery, soccer, basketball, arts & crafts, scavenger hunts, science & nature, and drama. Wednesdays are pizza days, and Fridays are theme days. Some of last year’s themes were Talent Show, Wet and Wild Water Day, Carnival Day, 60’s Day, and Olympic Week. One field trip per week, Mon. & Wed. free swim at a pool, Thursday afternoon at the Wayland Town Beach, and Friday pizza day.
Must supply a physical examination report conducted during the preceding 24 months before start of program and a certificate of immunization. A parent packet of information will be sent to you in late May.
Field trips include Pirate Cruise, PINZ Bowling, Breezy Water Park, CoCo Key, Southwick Zoo, and Roller Kingdom
Weeks of July 14, 21 and 28 are full, taking names for wait list. There are available spaces for weeks of June 24, June 30, July 7 and August 4.
