Town of Wayland Offices to be elected Annual Town Election 2015.
The following offices will be elected at the Annual Town Election [with the names of those with expiring terms included in brackets]:
- Board of Selectmen: two seats [Edward J. Collins, Mary Antes]
- School Committee, two seats [Malcolm L. Astley, Ellen M. Grieco
- Board of Assessors, two seats [Zachariah Ventress, Molly Upton]
- Trustees of Public Library, two seats [Sally Cartwright, Nancy J. Jahnke]
- Board of Health, two seats [Michael J. Bean, Cynthia Hill]
- Planning Board, one seat, (5-year term) [Colleen Sheehan]
- Board of Public Works, two seats [Robert L. Goldsmith, Jonathan I. Mishara]
- Recreation Commissioner, two seats [Brud Wright, Stas Gayshan]
- Commission of Trust Funds, two seats [David C. D’Orlando]
- Housing Authority, one seat, (5-year term) [Susan Weinstein]
All seats have a three-year term, unless noted. Nomination papers will be available Monday, January 5, 2015 for the Annual Town Election and they may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office. Candidates are required to have 50 certified signatures in order for name to be placed on ballot. Nomination papers must be returned by Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Town Election will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015
