The Wayland Community Pool needs your help. They are looking for a number of volunteers to help get the pool ready for operation. This past spring they moved all of the pool equipment they could salvage out of the building and into many different homes and barns around Wayland. On Saturday and Sunday November 20 & 21, they are going to collect these items and return them to the pool building. Additionally, they will be hanging bulletin boards, setting up trophy cases, organizing the locker rooms, etc.
If you have a few hours you can spare please get in touch with Sandra Brennan (sjbwayland@comcast.net) and let her know which day and time you are available and if you have any special skills (ability to fly, super strength, x-ray vision, etc). She will be coordinating work crews with the new pool director, Matt DeChane.
This time can be used toward the high school’s volunteer hour requirement.
