We have just moved our website from an old server to a newer one. We expect this to improve performance and we should have fewer periods in which the site is slow. As part of this transition, we moved our website from a / subdirectory to the root directory. So you can now access our site at waylandenews.com instead of waylandenews.com/wordpress.
An unfortunate side effect of this is that some of our links may no longer work. If you find broken links and they have / in them, try them again deleting that. If they don’t include “/”, then they are broken for some reason other than the move. In any event, feel free to email us to alert us of broken links at kim@waylandenews.com. You may also find some missing images. The recovery period may take a while, so please bear with us.
We are also finding that we are occasionally getting “Internal Server Error” messages. When this happens, just reload the page, and it should work. There’s no good reason for the error messages, and we hope to figure it out and complete repairs in the next couple of days.
