The Board of Selectmen voted 3-1 last night to fire Town Administrator Fred Turkington. He was fired without cause, requiring the Town to continue to pay him 12 months of salary. The motion was made by Tony Boschetto who said the Town needs a “new direction”. There was no discussion of what that “new direction” might be.
