The Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable Presents A Panel Discussion on Social Safety for Seniors Scams, Abuse, and Resources

Are you aware of the latest scams that target senior citizens? Do you know how to identify abuse and to help a person who is experiencing abuse in later life? If the answer to either or both of these questions is “no,” please join the Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable for a panel discussion on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at 10:30 AM at the Wayland Council on Aging located in the Wayland Town Hall, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland. Please enter and park in the rear of the building.

Panelists for this discussion will be Mark Wilkins, Community Service Officer, Wayland Police Department; Katie Galenius, Director of Women’s Programs, Greater Lynn Senior Services, Inc.; and April Evans, Protective Services Worker, Springwell.

If you are unable to attend the morning program in Wayland, a similar program will be presented on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at 7 PM in the Community Meeting Room of the Goodnow Library, 21 Concord Road in Sudbury.

Both programs are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
