If you don’t wire money immediately, he’s going to jail in a foreign country. There’s no time to call police – you have to do it now. This fake phone call – a national scam that has caught the attention of the Federal Bureau of Investigation – was one of several scams and other issues the Sudbury-Lincoln-Wayland Domestic Violence Roundtable discussed at the Wayland Council on Aging last week.
