Wayland patch 4/11/14: K-9 Finds 50 Pounds of Pot in Wayland, Police Say. Yesterday afternoon, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Tpr. William McSweeney and K-9 Scully responded to a request from Trooper Michael Child, assigned to the Framingham Barracks. Trooper Child was on a car stop and requesting K-9 for a narcotics sniff of a car on Route 128 in Wayland. Tpr. McSweeney deployed Scully and Scully gave an exterior alert at the trunk. Troopers opened the trunk and located four boxes, containing approximately 50 lbs. of marijuana.
Note: of course some correction to this story will be needed since 128 does not run through Wayland.
