Wayland Town Crier 5/5/14: Wayland School Committee fined $1K. For the second time since the Attorney General’s office took over enforcement of the state’s Open Meeting Law, a Wayland board has been fined for violations. Last week, the School Committee was fined $1,000 in regards to an executive session last June to discuss a school employee who was later fired by Superintendent Paul Stein for unauthorized actions in the School Department’s accounting systems.
