Eric was a 2008 graduate of Wayland High School. Eric was a Giver.
One of the ways Eric gave was by donating blood—until he really needed blood. Eric was diagnosed with AML Leukemia in December 2011 and he died of complications of a stem cell transplant in June 2012. Leukemia is a Blood Cancer. During his illness Eric needed many, many blood products—whole blood, packed red cells, platelets & granulocytes.
Team Eric has organized this Blood Drive to give back.

Basic Requirements to Donate Blood:
- Photo ID Required
- Be in good general health
- Feel well on day of donation
- Weigh at least 110 pounds
- Be at least 17 years old
