Wayland Town Crier 7/2/14: Sudbury-Wayland recreation director accepts full-time job in Sudbury. The shared recreation director for Sudbury and Wayland, Nancy McShea, will leave Wayland to accept a full-time position in Sudbury at the end of July. “We felt the needs and demands on the (Recreation) department and department director had grown significantly in the four years since we had done the sharing with Wayland,” said Sudbury Town Administrator Maureen Valente of the change from shared to full-time. Wayland officials are also looking for a full-time director to replace McShea, according to Wayland’s interim town administrator, Robert Mercier. Interviews for the new position are tentatively scheduled for the end of July.
