Wayland Town Crier 8/23/14: Wayland farm part of Sudbury fair on Saturday. Tim Henderson has been growing heirloom corn at Mainstone Farm in Wayland for the past five years. His Longfellow Yellow Flint Corn can be traced back to the early 1800s and has a deep corn flavor. The Narragansett white capped Flint Corn dates back to the Narragansett Indians and has a sweet, nutty flavor. The cornmeal is interchangeable for baking, breading, hush puppies, cornbread, johnnycakes, polenta, or grits and Indian pudding, to name just a few. Details on the fair are online here
