In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together. Through a myriad of enriching experiences, such as field trips, skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges and environmental stewardships, girls grow courageous and strong. Girl Scouting helps girls develop their full individual potential. We are holding a Daisy/Brownie sampler for girls in grade K -2 on Wednesday, September 17, 4:30–5:30pm at Loker School Older Girl Scouts will give the younger girls a taste of what being a Girl Scout is like. The girls will sing songs, do an arts & craft project and have a snack while parents meet to discuss forming troops. If you are interested in attending or have questions about Wayland Girl Scouts or have older girls interested in joining a troop, please contact Karen montague at kdm55@verizon.net.
