Wayland Patch 9/9/14: Wayland Students Semifinalists in National Merit Scholarship Program. Officials of National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced the names of approximately 16,000 semifinalists in the 60th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Semifinalists include Wayland High School students Jeremy Harper, Emma Kerwin, Rudreshwaran Ranganathan, Kathryn Selig and Andrew Sharp.
