Wayland Patch 12/11/14: 12-Year-Old Rushed to Hospital With ‘Possible Life Threatening’ Injuries After Crash. Wayland fire assisted Sudbury with a serious crash on Sunday night. A 12-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital by helicopter on Sunday after a two-car crash on Landham Road at Pelham Island Road in Sudbury. Around 8:30 p.m., police received many 911 calls reporting the accident. When police and fire got to the scene, a 12-year-old boy was unresponsive in the back seat. He was the most seriously injured, with possible life threatening injuries, said police, and was transported by helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital.
