Each of the three school department budget options presented to a joint audience of School and Finance Committee members Monday night represented at least a $1 million increase over this past year’s budget of $35.4 million. “There’s an overall theme to this budget,” Superintendent Paul Stein said, of the three options he detailed Monday. “It’s really about momentum. It’s about building on the initiatives the district already has.”
