Although originally scheduled to start June 22, the Pegasus Summer Program’s first day is now tentatively Thursday, June 25, 2015. If there are additional snow days, a new starting date will be announced. A location change is also planned due to construction projects recently scheduled at Wayland Middle School; the new Pegasus location is Claypit Hill School.
In operation for more than two decades, Pegasus has been held at each of the elementary schools and the middle school. “The Claypit Hill location includes features such as two playgrounds, large playing fields, an air-conditioned gymnasium which includes the stage, and several air-conditioned rooms. Like the middle school, Claypit Hill has ample parking,” explained Julie Potter, Pegasus coordinator.
The program kicks off with a grand celebration featuring drumming and dancing with Rhythm Kids. Enrollment is now open with a 5% discount available to anyone registering by February 28, 2015. Enrollment and additional program details are online at www.PegasusSummerExperience.com.
