Families interested in the Wayland school district’s summer enrichment program, Pegasus, are advised to sign up soon. For children entering Grades One through Five, six specialty areas are offered: Studio Art, Performing Arts, Games Galore, Sizzlin’ Science, WPKN TV Production (Grades 3 – 5), and Rockin’ Robotics. Some of these specialty areas are close to their maximum enrollment for Session Two. Chances of getting into a first choice activity are better for early registrants. Children are immersed in these areas on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Field trips are on Wednesdays, and special events are on Fridays.
