Wayland Town Crier 5/31/15: Wayland residents performing in opera. The first weekend in June will see Wayland residents singing in Donizetti’s delightful comic opera “L’Elisir D’Amore” in Concord in a fundraiser performance supporting operation of the Performing Arts Center at 51 Walden.
David Siktberg and Jonathan Saxton, past and present members of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, have been rehearsing for the last several months and are ready to take the stage! Performances are Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, June 7 at 2 p.m. Musicologist Laura Prichard will provide a pre-concert talk one hour before the performances.
