River’s Edge, the 150- to 190-unit affordable and market-rate rental housing project planned for Rte. 20 near the landfill, is edging closer to reality, as the Board of Selectmen recently approved the draft of a request for proposals (RFP) for sale and redevelopment of the 8.24-acre property, slated to go out in early September.
