Would you like to play in a band or orchestra? The Sudbury Valley New Horizons Music Band and Orchestra are beginniner their 9th season this fall. Beginners and new members, on all instruments, are welcome! Registration for the fall season begins on August 24th and the first rehearsal is September 9th.
Whether or not you’ve ever played an instrument, YOU can be part of it! Haven’t played in 40 years? Some members came back to instruments after 50, 60 and even 70 years of not playing! Never played and have no clue what those little black marks are on the paper? Lessons are provided. Call Diane for more information at 617-834-7539. Rehearsals and beginner classes begin September 9th, at Wayland Middle School, from 6:30-8:15 p.m.
There is also an afternoon band rehearsal on Mondays at the Wayland Town Building for those who don’t like to or can’t come in the evening. And — the group has a tuba that can be loaned to someone who wants to play tuba but doesn’t own one!
