Wayland Town Crier 9/5/15: Wayland’s ‘Field of Dreams’ comes to life. Most are familiar with the plot of “Field of Dreams,” the 1989 sports film starring Kevin Costner about a corn farmer who hears voices instructing him to build a baseball field in his backyard. In Wayland, a similar story has occurred this past summer, minus the voices and Shoeless Joe Jackson’s ghost.
