Wayland Town Crier 12/2/15: Wayland tax rate lowest in six years. The Board of Selectmen set the rate that will determine tax levies for the year ahead on Monday night, voting unanimously for a uniform tax rate of $17.34 per $1,000 of assessed value for residential, commercial, industrial and personal property. The new tax rate is the lowest rate in six years, and a decrease from $18.39 in fiscal 2015.
