Wayland Town Crier 12/11/15: Children experience the joy of giving at Wayland event. Now in its 28th year, the Children’s Holiday Shoppe held last week in the Town Building gym brought together Wayland residents from across the generations for a joyful start to the holiday season. Organized and hosted annually by Wayland’s Council on Aging, this tradition offers children the chance to select and buy holiday gifts in a safe and friendly environment with the help of older children while their parents wait out of view. Proceeds from the Holiday Shoppe benefit local charities.
