Wayland Town Crier 2/22/16: Wayland and Weston students in powerful program. The motto of Roxbury Latin School, an independent boys’ school in West Roxbury, is “mortui vivos docent,” or “the dead teach the living.” So it’s fitting that the 50 or so young men in the senior class each year are given the opportunity to participate in an unusual extracurricular activity – helping a local funeral home bury individuals who die alone and have no family to claim them.
