COMMUNITY INPUT FOR LIBRARY PLANNING Every three to five years the library creates a long-range plan to determine the direction of library services in the future. The Board of Library Trustees and the Library Planning Committee have started working on library’s next long-range plan. Community input is an important part of the planning process, and we got a great response from the household survey we conducted last year. We are also holding two community planning sessions, which will be moderated by independent library consultant Chuck Flaherty, former director of the Public Library of Brookline. The community forums will be held in the library’s Raytheon Room on Monday, March 21, at 7 p.m and Saturday, March 26, at 10 a.m. We encourage you to come and let you know what library services you value now and what you would like to see the library offer in the future.
