Wayland Town Crier 4/13/16: Two Wayland residents elected delegates. On April 9, two Wayland residents, Russell Ashton and J. Michael Gilbreath, were elected delegates to the Democratic National Convention taking place in Philadelphia in July. Ashton was elected to support Hillary Clinton, and Gilbreath will be supporting Bernie Sanders. Gilbreath and Ashton, who have been hard at work for their respective candidates since last summer, were rewarded for their efforts.
