Registration is now open for Global Child after-school Spanish and French classes to be offered this fall in Wayland’s K-5 schools. The program is brought to Wayland through Wayland School Community Programs (WSCP).There will be Beginner Level classes in French and Spanish as well as Home and Family Themed classes. Global Child was founded in 1992 by two world language experts in the field of early language learning, and has been bringing world language programs to elementary and middle schools since then. The program employs a unique combination of movement, music, skits, games and culture. Inherent in the program’s philosophy is the belief that children should learn about the culture as well as the language.
