Wailin’ Wednesdays Concert Series at the Wayland Town Center

Low PriorityPopular concert series returns; kicks off Wednesday, June 29, 5:30pm at The Wayland Town Center, East Green. The businesses of the Wayland Town Center are proud to once again present a family-friendly summer concert series which kicks off on Wednesday, June 29 from 5:30-7pm at the Wayland Town Center East Green.

This free concert series features live local musicians, great food, giveaways and other fun surprises, geared towards all members of the family

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and some bug spray, relax and enjoy a nice night outside with your friends and family in the community.

The summer musical line up is as follows:

  • June 29: The Missy Maxfield Project, Five member Metro-West cover band featuring music from the 60s to the present.
  • July 13: The Unholy Mackerels, Boston-metro based cover band, putting their own spin on all of the classics.
  • July 27: Mid Life Crisis, A local favorite, 6 piece rock & roll band with an extensive song list from Motown to country; funk to southern rock; The Beatles to the Boss.
  • August 10: Jumpin’ Juba. West Roxbury based unique mix of blues and roots-y rock & roll, with flavors from many other genres like folk-Americana, Latin, Caribbean, jazz and country. New Orleans swamp-rock, classic boogie-woogie, folk, Memphis rock & roll, and a playful use of Orleans
  • August 24: Low Priority Boston based rock cover band playing all of the rock songs you know and songs that make you want to dance.
