Are you interested in serving on the WHS Assistant Principal Search Advisory Committee? A committee of faculty, students and parents is being formed to interview applicants for the High School Assistant Principal position. WHSPO is soliciting two parents to serve on this committee. Committee members must be available both Monday July 25 and Tuesday July 26 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. If you are interested in being considered for the Committee, please email Sarah Orlov at sorlov@orlovcompany.com by Wednesday, July 13. Please include your name, your children’s names and grade levels (including those who have graduated) and a brief summary of why you are interested in serving on the committee and any experience that you might have that would be relevant to the Committee. We will notify all applicants by Monday, July 18.
The hiring process for a new Assistant Principal (to replace Scott Parseghian who is moving into a Wellness Director role) is underway. The process will be as follows:
- Submission of application packets through Friday, July 15.
- Initial review of applications by Assistant Principal Ethan Dolleman and Principal Allyson Mizoguchi during the week of July 18.
- Interviews of first round candidates by the Assistant Principal Hiring Committee (a representative group consisting of: two parents, two students, three teachers, and Ms. Mizoguchi) on Monday, July 25, and Tuesday, July 26.
- Interviews of semi-finalist candidates by Mr. Dolleman, Ms. Mizoguchi, and a subgroup of High School Department Heads.
- Following reference checks, recommendation of one finalist to Superintendent Paul Stein during the week of August 1.
