The Wayland Police issued this traffic advisory via phone call and on Facebook:
On August 15,2016 the Town of Wayland will have several road construction projects in progress at the same time. These projects are expected to cause extreme traffic delays thought the town.
- Old Connecticut Path from Route 126 to Route 20 will be resurfaced between the hours of 7AM and 4PM causing the road to be closed at times. This work is expected to be completed by Friday August 19
- The School Street, East Plain and Route 30 project will continue with expected delays as the project expands.
- Route 27 and Route 30 project will begin with heavy delays expected from 8AM to 3 PM. This work is expected to be complete October 2017.
All are advised to seek alternative routes.
