Sudbury Valley Trustees present Singing Insects: The Soundtrack of Summer at Wolbach Farm, 18 Wolbach Road, Sudbury, Tuesday, September 13, 7:00 -9:00 pm
Join Norman Levey at Sudbury Valley Trustees’ Wolbach Farm in Sudbury to learn more about singing insects, the soundtrack of summer. During this late summer evening program, Norman will share how to identify the insects that we hear but often go unseen. Using handouts and digital recordings, participants will begin to make sense of the insect chorus heard around the meadows and barn at Wolbach Farm. In addition, a collection sheet bathed in UV light will be set up to attract tree crickets and beetles. Norman, an accomplished nature photographer, will demonstrate the photography technique for identifying these insects.
