The Wayland Garden Club will meet on September 20 at the Trinitarian Congregational Church, 53 Cochituate Road, Wayland. New members are welcome. There will be refreshments at 9:30am followed by the speaker at 10am. The subject is Jaw-Dropping, Traffic-Stopping, “Get Your Neighbors Talking” Containers. The speaker is Deborah Trickett who has worked in the garden industry for over 30 years and is an award-winning designer creating one-of-a-kind containers and gardens.
Founded in 1922, the Wayland Garden Club was one of the earliest established in Massachusetts. The club has a long-standing interest in preserving the environment, civic beautification, community outreach, horticulture and flower arranging. Speakers and workshops on a wide range of these subjects are featured at our monthly meetings.
