Town of Wayland 9/9/16: Special Election on September 20 for Bonding of New Minuteman Regional School. On Tuesday, September 20, 2016, a special district-wide referendum authorizing borrowing for a new Minuteman High School will take place in all 16 member communities of the Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School District (MMRVTSD). The total project cost is $144.9 million. The Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) is expected to provide a grant up to $44 million towards this cost. Wayland voters may cast ballots at the Town Building between the hours of noon and 8 p.m. Only one polling place in Wayland will be open for this special vote.
