Moms of Amazing Kids, a volunteer group for moms raising special needs children, is hosting a free workshop, presented by Engaging Minds.
Workshop Description: Please join Dan Levine of Engaging Minds, an after school learning center with locations in Newton and Wayland, for a workshop designed specifically for parents. In this workshop parents will learn:
- Strategies to help you child better manage his/her nightly homework
- Planning and time management strategies for both short-term and long-term assignments — for life!
- Strategies to help your child get “unstuck” when he/she has trouble initiating tasks
- Organizational strategies to help your child keep track of his/her papers, assignments, and belongings
- And more!
The workshop includes Q&A and small group break-out sessions. The workshop will last approximately 60-75 minutes. For those interested in learning more about Moms of Amazing Kids, come grab a quick drink with us after the workshop at Primebar Grill in Wayland!
