Wayland Town Crier 7/9/19: Wayland ZBA grants OK for Verizon cell tower at Wayland Rod & Gun Club. A proposed Verizon Wireless cell tower may have found a landing spot, despite strong neighborhood opposition. A recent 4-1 vote by the Zoning Board of Appeals gives a variance to Verizon to build a 120-foot tower at the Wayland Rod & Gun Club. Verizon originally wanted a 140-foot tower.
