Wayland Town Crier 2/10/20: Wayland student honored for her short story. Wayland Middle School eighth-grade student Kally Proctor has won a regional Gold Key in the 2019-20 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for her fictional short story, “Dark Chocolate.” The competition is open to students in grades 7 to 12.
