A Connecticut man tried to swallow illegal pills after a Wayland police officer pulled over his car on Wednesday, authorities said. Colby Parker, 20, of Staffordville, was arrested at 7:15 a.m. after officers caught him trying to swallow two oxycodone pills after being stopped on Commonwealth Avenue, according to a police report filed in Framingham District Court on Wednesday.
