Wayland Town Crier 12/7/13: Local Wayland and Weston youths in ‘The Nutcracker’. Walnut Hill School for the Arts’ is presenting its winter production of “The Nutcracker” later this month. Performances will take place on Dec. 10 to 14, 19 and 20 at 7 p.m., and Dec. 14, 15 and 21 at 2 p.m. at Walnut Hill’s Keiter Center for the Performing Arts in Natick. Nine performers from Wayland will participate. Jaime Vanderburgh (Class of 2014), a dance major at Walnut Hill, will star in the leading role of Snow Queen. The following Walnut Hill Community Dance Academy students from Wayland will be also featured – Eleanor Flacke (Party Boy), Samantha Janoff (Little Sister), Elizabeth Micolisin (Soldier), Valentina Micolisin (Soldier), Jordan Rubin (Mouse/Angel), Madison Schofield (Clara’s Doll), Anna Wright (Clara’s Doll/Soldier), and Sabrina Xie (Soldier).
