Wayland Town Crier 3/1/14: New visual arts teacher at Wayland Middle School. Our beloved visual arts teacher, Barbara Ryan, will be retiring effective March 3. Ryan has been a fixture at Wayland Middle School for many years and helped to develop our rich and rewarding curriculum, the results of which can be seen throughout our building, transforming cinder block and drywall into such a stimulating and appealing environment. Students take great pride in seeing their amazing creations adorn our walls. I am delighted to announce that we have hired Peter Curran as our new visual arts teacher.
