The Local, located at 400 Boston Post Road in Wayland, will host a thank-you party and fundraiser on Tuesday, August 12 to support Christopher’s Haven, a local nonprofit organization that provides temporary apartments and a support center for children and their families while they are going through outpatient treatment for cancer at nearby hospitals.
Meet the Christopher’s Haven team 4-6pm and enjoy complimentary appetizers, and participate in raffles and a silent auction. Items to be auctioned include a two-night stay at The Summit Hotel at Killington (with a custom-made Santa Cruz snowboard), priceless Ming vases, classic Red Sox signed memorabilia, dinner and gift card prizes to The Local, and more.
A portion of all sales (minus tax and gratuity) from 4pm-closing on August 12 will be donated to Christopher’s Haven.
