Wayland Town Crier 9/22/14: Wayland group sees progress in Peru. In a year, a lot can change. One can receive a promotion, buy a bigger house, or a newer car. This kind of material progress in itself is something we, as a society, have come to value as a necessity, rather than enjoying it when it comes our way. We see progress as getting bigger, better, shinier, faster, thinner, and stronger. Progress becomes visual, in some way or another, whether it is extra zeros on a paycheck or a bigger couch to fill the new living room. But what about the progress that doesn’t take such a physical form?
