HOLIDAY HOURS. The library will be closed on Veteran’s Day, Tuesday, November 11. Over Thanksgiving the library will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26. We will be closed all day Thursday, November 26, and Friday, November 28.
BOOK BUDDIES. Book Buddies is for kids in grades K-2 with a parent/caregiver. This month’s book is “Pinch and Dash Make Soup” by Michael Daley. NEEDLEWORK/HANDWORK GROUP. Our Needlework/Handwork group, facilitated by Ann Moses, meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m.–12 noon in the Raytheon Room. Next meetings are on the following Wednesdays: November 5 and December 3.

ACUPUNCTURE FOR YOUR PETS. Dr. Flavia Zorgniotti will describe veterinary acupuncture for veterinary: what it is, the similarities and differences from human acupuncture, and how it is used. She will also discuss some of the more common ailments it can treat and answer audience questions. Dr. Zorgniotti is a veterinarian at the Phoenix Veterinary Hospital of Wayland. She is certified in Veterinary Acupuncture and Veterinary Food Therapy. Tuesday, November 18, 7pm.
SUDBURY VALLEY NATURE PHOTOGRAPHERS. This year’s annual fall exhibit in the Raytheon Room features work by sixteen local photographers and represents a wide variety of nature subject matter. Exhibitors come from throughout MetroWest. A “Meet the Artists” reception for the public will be held on Sunday, November 9, from 2:30-4:30 p.m. It will include several brief “gallery talks” by some of the exhibiting photographers, beginning at 3:30.
DROBNIS PHOTOGRAPHY. We welcome back Murray and Gertrude Drobnis for their nineteenth year exhibiting their photography in the library’s foyer.
