Wayland Town Crier 12/5/14: Wayland, Lincoln police investigating burglary attempts. Police say they are investigating two recent reports of burglary attempts in Wayland where a suspect lured homeowners out of their homes, allowing an accomplice to try to enter the dwellings. Officers Friday released a sketch of one suspect, though Detective Sgt. Jamie Berger said police are looking for several people involved in the scam.
