Wayland Town Crier 12/4/14: Wayland selectmen keep uniform tax rate. The Board of Selectmen voted on Monday to implement a tax rate of $18.33 per $1,000 of property value for businesses and homeowners for the period from July 2015 to June 2016. Selectmen Chairman Joe Nolan voiced the consensus of the board that Wayland’s commercial base was not yet large enough to support putting a greater tax burden on businesses.
